About the Hampton Village Traders Association
Hampton Village Traders Association (HVTA) was formed to celebrate and promote the thriving village community of Hampton in Middlesex.
Our first project was the Hampton Christmas Celebration on 5th December 2010. Dozens of local shops, pubs and restaurants took part in what was a great fun and very memorable event. And we raised over £2,500 for local charities.
We have now set up this local directory website to showcase all the many and various businesses we have right here in Hampton. From pubs, cafes and restaurants, through hairdressers, estate agents and pets shops to opticians, dentists and children’s nurseries – they’re all here “just up your street”.
We encourage everyone to ‘shop local’ and we hope that this online directory will help you do just that.
We have exciting news three defibrillators will be arriving soon in the village! These vital life saving pieces of equipment will be available to all 24-7, located at the White House Community Centre, Hampton Social Club opposite the railway station and at Hampton ferry boat House, Thames Street. we are working towards defibrillator no.4 to be near they green. why are four needed in a small Village? In recent events of someone needing a defibrillator, it was extremely lucky that it happened by a school equipped with a defibrillator and when the school was accessible, got us to thinking what if it was "out of hours" incident and we thought that it would a great way to look after the Hampton Villagers if ever this equipment was need, then where do you put one? so on the premise you can never have enough of these dotted around the Village.
All the defibrillators have been funded by donations from your local independent traders, the response to our appeal was humbling and over whelming, we are delighted and so proud to be a part of such a great caring organisation of local businesses, that enjoys supporting Village life and now has gone one step further in keeping the village alive......
